Kristina Waters

Ms. Waters graduated from the University of Arizona (UA) in 2001 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and is currently pursuing the Master of Legal Studies (MLS) kwatersdegree at UA College of Law. Her MLS concentration is in the areas of Legislation and International Law. She’s currently employed full-time at the UA College of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine (EM), as the Medical Student Education and Emergency Medical Services Fellowship Coordinator. She collaborates regularly with EM Faculty on research projects and has been invited to present posters at national EM conferences. This interest resulted in her first publication in the Journal of Emergency Medicine: October, 2015. She has also spent several years working in Behavioral Health managing a caseload of individuals on Title 36, court ordered mental health treatment. Prior to this she spent many years in London, England working at the U.S. Embassy in Consular affairs with prior study and work as a Journalist. Ms. Waters looks to transition into the UA JD program in 2017 with an interest in International Law and Cyber Terrorism.
